Somewhere along the way I was dubbed “Geek Whisperer” in reference to my ability (and the great delight I take) to clearly explain the fundamental truths of technology and its impacts on businesses and the people they serve.
Currently I am Global E-commerce Technology Lead for Kimberly-Clark Corp. Prior to that I was consulting for several private equity groups, then Vice President / Technology Director for Edelman Digital. Before Edelman I was Executive Director of Technology for WhittmanHart/Band Digital, I headed the US operations of Paris-based e-commerce project Coastal Concepts, I was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for leading toy and hobby brand Revell-Monogram, and I founded and ran Mouse Marketing (later Planetmouse), one of the early Silicon Alley web development shops. Prior to all of this I was an advertising copywriter for various agencies in New York City and Chicago.
In my interactive marketing career I have been fortunate enough to work on projects for leading companies in the US, Great Britain and Italy including Black and Decker, Goldman Sachs, Harley-Davidson, Avon, Lord & Taylor, Citicorp U.K., Gannett, SC Johnson, Discover Card, Mercer, Behr Coatings, ABC Television, and more.
